How Firm A Foundation
1 How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,
is laid for your faith in His excellent Word!
What more can He say than to you He hath said,
who unto the Savior for refuge have fled?
2 "In every condition, in sickness, in health,
in poverty's vale, or abounding in wealth,
at home and abroad, on the land, on the sea,
as days may demand, shall thy strength ever be."
3 "Fear not, I am with thee; O be not dismayed,
for I am thy God and will still give thee aid.
I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand."
4 "When through the deep waters I call thee to go,
the rivers of sorrow shall not overflow;
for I will be with thee, thy troubles to bless,
and sanctify to thee thy deepest distress."
5 "When through fiery trials thy pathway shall lie,
My grace, all-sufficient, shall be thy supply.
The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design
thy dross to consume, and thy gold to refine."
6 "The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose
I will not, I will not desert to his foes;
that soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I'll never, no never, no never forsake!"

Nền Tảng Vững Chắc
1. Niềm tin đặt vững vàng, trên chân lý không đổi dời,
Niềm tin mà thánh đồ tin nơi Chúa, Chiên Con Trời.
Ai tin chắc luôn vững lòng theo chân Chúa luôn suốt đời,
Thì hưởng mọi phước lành trong thiên quốc muôn muôn đời.
2. Sợ chi, Ta ở cùng, luôn chăm sóc, theo giữ gìn.
Vì Ta là Thiên Phụ luôn luôn đỡ nâng con hoài.
Ta thêm sức, luôn giữ gìn con trong lối công chính này,
Và Ta hằng bảo bọc con trong cánh tay năng quyền.
3. Dù con vượt qua dòng sông nguy hiểm Ta ở cùng.
Dù cho dòng nước mạnh, không cho phép nước cuốn trôi.
Trong nguy khó Ta ở cùng, thay đau đớn nên phước hạnh.
Dù khi con ngã lòng, Ta luôn ở với chính con.
4. Rồi khi đời con gặp bao thử thách như lửa hừng.
Thì Ta, nguồn bình an, nơi nương náu, chốn nghỉ ngơi.
Không cho phép lửa hừng mang đau đớn hay nản lòng;
Vì Ta dùng lửa hừng cho tâm tánh con tinh ròng.
